The modern view on the interaction between the family and the preschool institution is based on the idea that parents are primarily responsible for raising children, while all other social institutions are meant to support and complement their educational efforts. Recognizing the priority of family upbringing necessitates fundamentally different relationships between the family and the preschool institution. The novelty of these relationships is defined by the concepts of “cooperation” and “interaction”.
