This scientific article analyzes the socio-economic nature of local budgets and their place in the budget system. Local budgets are important in the implementation of the economic policies of the state, which are the main means of supporting territorial development, meeting the needs of the population and providing social services. The article covers the formation of local budgets, their impact on economic and social processes, as well as the problems that arise in the allocation of resources at the local level and their solutions. According to the results of the study, effective management of local budgets plays a large role in ensuring territorial stability and improving the standard of living of the population. The article includes recommendations for improving the local budget system and strengthening its socio-economic impact.
