Ushbu kurs maqolaning asosiy maqsadi — raqamli jamiyat tushunchasini, uning rivojlanish bosqichlarini, axborot-kommunikatsiya texnologiyalarining jamiyat hayotidagi o‘rnini tahlil qilish, shuningdek, raqamli transformatsiya jarayonlarining ijtimoiy, iqtisodiy va madaniy sohalarga ta’sirini o‘rganishdan iborat. Raqamli jamiyatning asosiy shartlarini, funksiyalar va u uchun kerak bo‘ladigan sharoitlarni o‘rganishdan iborat hisoblanadi. Shu sababli ham “Raqamli jamiyat”ni tubdan o‘rganish, uni avfzalliklari va kamchiliklari bilan birgalikda tahlil qilish, uning konsepsiyalari, o‘z oldiga qo‘ygan maqsad va strategiyalarini yuqori darajada o‘zlashtirish shart hisoblanadi.
