Abstract

This article explores the theoretical and practical aspects of developing thinking skills in primary school students through innovative pedagogical approaches. The author analyzes the effectiveness of problem-based learning, didactic games, metacognitive strategies, and modern assessment tools in fostering students’ cognitive development. Special emphasis is placed on the role of teacher competency and the learning environment. Experimental results confirm that an integrated approach significantly enhances students’ independent, analytical, and creative thinking.
