Abstract

This article explores the role and effectiveness of the storytelling method in enhancing students’ vocabulary acquisition in English language learning. The study highlights how storytelling promotes meaningful learning, improves retention, and creates emotional engagement. Experimental data collected from middle school students shows that learners exposed to storytelling activities demonstrate a higher level of vocabulary retention and usage compared to those taught through traditional memorization methods.
