Competitiveness of the national economy and ways to improve it

DISSERTATION ABSTRACT

Abstract

The scientific novelty of the research is as follows:

according to the methodological approach, the content of the “competitiveness of the national economy” concept has been improved on the base of implementation a system of differentiated benefits as part of the development of export activities through regional programs, which is considered a general condition for ensuring the ability to successfully compete in the world market by innovations;

according to the methodological approach, the “structural composition of investments” concept has been improved in terms of achieving the optimal ratio between investment resources, which makes it possible to achieve proportionality in foreign trade by ensuring the priority of production of high-tech industrial products, the demand for which is increasing in the domestic and foreign markets;

considering the growing demand for industrial products in the national economy, the proposal to ensure the proportionality of imports and exports through the development of branches producing industrial means, to eliminate imbalances in the development of foreign trade activities based on the compliance of the structure of the investment program with the industrial production process, the demand for which is growing in domestic and foreign markets;

forecast indicators of the share of industrial products in the export structure until 2025 were developed on the basis of regional export development programs in accordance with the global market conditions and the strategy for reviving regional exports “promotion of regional exports” in Uzbekistan.
