Abstract

In this article, we delve into the importance of computer-based assessment as a tool for instructing English as a Second Language (ESL) students in writing skills. We explore the materials and techniques employed in computer-based writing assessments, present the findings of recent research on their effectiveness, and engage in discussions regarding the implications for ESL education. The article concludes by underscoring the potential advantages of computer-based assessment in elevating ESL writing abilities.
