Abstract

The article discusses the role of social media and sports news media in engaging young people in sports, encouraging physical activity, and popularizing sports. Sports information resources, information about sports on social networks, competitions and effective methods of popularizing athletes are covered. It also analyzes the problems and opportunities that arise when involving young people in sports, the importance of introducing new types of sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The article cites suggestions for effective use of social media and sports news media in promoting sports among young people.
