History is a social memory that has informative and preserving properties about the past and is a process of understanding it, reflecting observation of the historical experience of ancestors, man and mankind. At the same time, history is the main factor in the process of self-awareness of a person. This article will talk about the importance of studying history and analyze the mistakes that are being made in teaching this discipline today.
