Parkinson kasalligi dunyo bo'ylab ikkinchi eng keng tarqalgan neyrodegenerativ kasallik bo'lib, uni davolash katta muammo bo'lib qolmoqda. Parkinson patogenezi atrof-muhit va genetik omillar bilan bog'liq va toksinlar gen mutatsiyalariga ta'sir qilish miya lezyonlarining boshlanishi hisoblanadi. Parkinsonning aniqlangan mexanizmlariga a-sinuklein agregatsiyasi, oksidlovchi stress, ferroptoz, mitoxondriyal disfunktsiya, neyroinflamasyon va ichak disbiyozi kiradi.
