This scientific paper is devoted to the study of the self-awareness and self-attitude of adolescents growing up in a dysfunctional family. The study analyzed the psychological stability of adolescents, the level of self-awareness and the influence of the family environment on their personality. The results of the study show that adolescent self-awareness in dysfunctional families is much more complex and they have a negative attitude towards themselves, which negatively affects their psychological and social development. Adolescents who grow up in full families are more successful in self-awareness, with higher levels of self-confidence and social success. The study shows the need for psychological and social assistance to support the personal development of adolescents.
