This article explores the urgent issue of ensuring sustainable employment for the population in the context of the modern economy. The author substantiates the importance of developing labor market infrastructure, supporting small business and private entrepreneurship, and promoting new types of employment in innovative sectors. The study identifies priority directions for improving employment policy by considering regional socio-economic disparities, enhancing workforce skills, and creating job opportunities in the digital economy. Scientific conclusions are drawn using statistical analysis, comparative methodology, and a systemic approach.
