GENDER STEREOTYPES IN SOCIETY

Gender stereotypes are defined as the default perceptions of behavioral models and character traits that correspond to the concepts of” masculine “and” feminine". Gender stereotypes are associated with strengthening certain social roles in family, professional and other areas. Women are usually assigned family roles as the main task – like a mother, a housewife, a spouse, and men – professional roles. In modern society, for the most part, men are judged on their professional achievements, and women-on the presence of family and children. Unfortunately, even in our society, this very view of women and men is firmly entrenched in the minds of people.
