Cataranthus roseus (Madagaskar pervinkasi) o'simligi tibbiyotda qimmatbaho dori moddalarini ishlab chiqarish uchun asosiy xom ashyo hisoblanadi. Uning tarkibida vinblastin va vinkristin kabi monoterpenoid indol alkaloidlari (MIA) mavjud bo‘lib, ular saraton kasalligini davolashda ishlatiladi. Vinblastin – tabiatda kam uchraydigan va murakkab biosintetik jarayon orqali hosil qilinadigan moddadir. Ushbu jarayonda ZCT (Zinc finger Catharanthus transcription factor) gen oilasi muhim rol o‘ynaydi. Mazkur tezisda vinblastin sintezining molekulyar mexanizmlari va ZCT gen oilasining unga ta’siri tahlil qilinadi.
