Abstract

This article will comprehensively analyze the contribution of the digital economy to the gross domestic product of the Republic of Uzbekistan (GDP). Digital technologies have become an integral part of the economy of the 21st century, and their impact on world and regional economic development is growing. In the analysis conducted on the example of Uzbekistan, the role of digital infrastructure, e-commerce, IT services exports, digital financial services and e-government systems in GDP in the country is covered on the basis of Statistics and official documents. The article will also analyze the prospects of the digital economy based on the existing legislative framework, international experience and existing problems.
