Abstract

In the modern world, technology has become an essential part of our daily lives. It affects almost every field, and education is no exception. One of the most significant changes technology has brought to education is the way we learn languages. Traditional language learning methods are now being replaced or supported by digital tools that make learning faster, easier, and more enjoyable. Firstly, mobile apps such as Duolingo, Memrise, and Babbel have revolutionized language learning. These apps allow users to study vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation anytime and anywhere. Many of them use gamification, which makes the process fun and keeps learners motivated through rewards, levels, and reminders. Secondly, online platforms and websites provide access to native speakers through video calls and chat. Websites like talk and Hello Talk connect learners with language partners or professional tutors from around the world. This real-time communication helps improve speaking and listening skills, which are often hard to practice in a traditional classroom. Moreover, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning have also entered the language learning world. Tools like ChatGPT and other AI-based tutors can simulate conversations, correct grammar, and even explain complex language rules. This personalized assistance helps learners to study at their own pace and focus on areas where they need the most help.
