Abstract

This article comprehensively examines the macroeconomic impact of the insurance sector on investment activities. The study was conducted on the example of Uzbekistan and analyzed the functions of insurance companies in capital saving, financing and investment direction. The article covers on the basis of Statistics the role of insurance in gross domestic product (GDP), its impact on the investment environment, its contribution to the movement of capital between the population and business entities on a scientific basis. Recommendations for further development of the field have also been developed based on analytical results. The results of the study are of practical importance in the formation of public policy in the field of insurance and in the direction of economic reforms.
