This article discusses in detail the basic principles and concepts of child psychology, the processes of mental and physical development of a child at different age stages. The article analyzes the emotional state of a child, social relationships, as well as his interaction with the environment from a psychological perspective. The role of child psychology in the process of education and upbringing, its importance in the formation of pedagogical approaches taking into account the individual characteristics of the child, is indicated. The article also highlights psychological factors in the child's self-awareness, development of abilities and the formation of social skills.
